Skills Development
Pamodzi Unique Engineering is passionate about skills development of its employees, we promote learning and education, in that we also offer our employees bursaries in order to further their studies. As a company we embark on numerous aspects of skills development for our employees such as Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) and in turn assist these employees in qualifying them as Tradesman though partnerships with the relevant FET colleges.
The company has in the past and is still continuing to offer many unemployed youth with Apprenticeships in Fitting & Turning, Welding and Electrical Trade, all the Apprentices who have passed their trades have subsequently been permanently employed by the company. In-service training is also offered by the company to University of Technologies’ engineering students (mechanical and industrial) who have completed their S4 subjects needing practical’s in order to qualify, we source these students from institutions in and around Gauteng & Kwa-Zulu Natal and as well as form partnerships with various FET colleges in offering their Apprentices with the necessary on the job training.
The company has a number of learnership programmes especially for people with disabilities in order to provide them with skills that will assist them to be employable.
