Sindisiwe Dlamini’s association with Pamodzi dates back to the early 2000’s. She joined the group in 2003 after serving her articles with Ernst & Young and qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. She has worked her way up the corporate ladder from a group Accountant to a group Chief Financial Officer where she was instrumental in deal making and deal structuring including the acquisition of Unique Engineering by Pamodzi Group. She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Pamodzi Unique Engineering.

Ms Dlamini started her career at Tongaat-Hulett Sugar as an accountant after completing her B.Com degree where she got exposed to the manufacturing sector. She also worked as a Tax Auditor for the South African Revenue Services (SARS) and underwent the Strategic Leadership program from the Gordon’s Institute of Business Sciences (GIBS).

Since then, Ms Dlamini has served on the boards and audit & risk committees of various organisations. These include Altech IT, Marine Products and African Women Chartered, Pamodzi Group, Anglo American Inyosi Coal and Inyosi Coal.

Phumzile Luthuli is a BCom graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She served her articles with Ngubane & Co. Chartered Accountants where she was involved in the external, internal and forensic audits with exposure to public and private sectors.

After the completion of her articles Ms Luthuli joined Metallon Corporation as a Group Financial Manager where she got exposure to group investments offering management and financial services.

In 2007 Ms Luthuli joined Pamodzi Group as a Group Financial Accountant. She has over 18 years of experience in the financial and auditing fields. On acquisition of Unique Engineering by Pamodzi Group in 2014 Ms Luthuli was seconded to lead the Finance team as a Financial Manager. Her responsibilities include developing financial strategy and review and implementation of financial policies and controls, budget management, forecasting, financial risk management and full audit function. Ms Luthuli also assumes the role of a Company Secretary.

Erika Tlaba holds a National Diploma in Office Administration from the Tshwane University of Technology, a BTech Degree in Business Administration and a BCom Honours in Human Resource Management, both from the University of Johannesburg.

Ms Tlaba has worked for various organisations both in the private and public sectors. She joined the Pamodzi Group in 2004 where she gained experience in numerous positions including Human Resources. She was seconded to Pamodzi Unique Engineering in 2014 after its acquisition by Pamodzi Group and she has been heading the Human Resources department where she administers the recruitment and selection of employees, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, labour relations and serves as a link between an organization's management and its employees. Ms Tlaba is a modern day HR leader who leads by example and is passionate about people development.

Sibusiso Phangela has a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Johannesburg and currently completing a Masters in Engineering Management, having started his career at Powertech Transormers, Phangela boosts over 8 years’ experience in the Engineering field and has been with Pamodzi Unique Engineering for more than 3 years.

As Pamodzi Unique Engineering’s Technical Manager, Phangela is responsible for executing the organisation’s Engineering and Technical functions. Phangela has successfully completed a number of projects with Pamodzi Unique Engineering, including the compressor business and is more than competent to steer the organisation to greater technological heights.

Callie Massyn started his career at Free State Engine care in 1997, moving to prestigious companies, Balance Engineering and Wurth until he came to Pamodzi Unique Engineering in 2013. Massyn has over 20 years’ experience in the sales environment as well as 9 years’ experience in the rail industry as well experience in the agricultural, consumables, motor and cargo industries.

Massyn heads up the sales department as a dynamic, hands on Sales Manager for Pamodzi Unique Engineering, applying the latest sales and client service innovations to grow the company’s market share.

Karen Neville started working as Laboratory Assistant analyzing oil samples from earth moving equipment for Barloworld/Cat in 1983. Ms Neville studied Analytical Chemistry from 1983 – 1985 and received her Diploma. Luck found her a job in the Quality field in 1993 and the bond was set.

Starting out as a Quality Administrator for a resin manufacturer, supplying fast acting resin capsules for roof support in the mining industry, she then joined Pamodzi Unique Engineering in 2008 as a Quality Administrator and worked her way up to Quality Coordinator in 2013. Her passion and commitment to quality sets her apart from the rest, ensuring all the products manufactured at Pamodzi Unique Engineering met the high standards expected in the industry

Sabelo Mkhwanazi holds a MBA degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. He also holds a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the Vaal University of Technology and National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the Durban University of Technology.

He has 24 years of professional experience from Mining Research and Development with Mintek, Plant Commissioning and Production with Chrome International SA (Lanxess SA), Pulp and Paper Manufacturing with Sappi SA, Manufacturing with Nestle SA (Nutrition) and Operations/sheq with Hudaco Group.

He held accountable roles at Technical, Continuous Improvement (process), Project Management, Management Consulting, Business Analysis, Risk Management and Senior Manager exco.

He joined Pamodzi Unique Engineering as an Operations Manager, with expertise from different sectors of operational experience.
